Val Tech Expands Clean Room Services to Serve Medical Marketplace The expanded Class 100,000 clean room now houses electric presses that range from 18 to 220 tons. Benefits of electric machines: more sensitive controls, faster cycle times, and performance that's a quantum leap ahead of traditional hydraulic machines. The new clean room utilizes the latest clean room construction technology, and is bioburden-controlled, housing manufacturing cells for high-speed automated assembly. Bioburden levels are effectively controlled and monitored, eliminating a process step for sterilization. Our in-house lab with bioburden testing insures that levels are maintained real-time. Mattec (Solarsoft) Real Time Process Monitoring was added to provide real-time state-of-the-art monitoring and control. Our new high-speed mill allows us to maintain closer tolerances, achieve higher RPMs and feed rates, and expand our hard cutting capabilities. We can now complete more precise, high-quality projects for our customers in less time and in fewer operations. Our new Wire EDM is the only model of its kind in the United States. Ultra-fine finishes, exceptional accuracy, and small wire capability (.002 diameter) continue to position Val Tech ahead of the competition.
